Jaguars Trip-Up Bulldogs, 3-0

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Butler volleyball team struggled to find offensive consistency Tuesday (Sept. 12) night at IUPUI, as the Bulldogs fell in three games to the Jaguars, 30-24, 30-23, 30-23.
The Bulldogs stayed close in all three contests but were unable to record the game-breaking points when they needed them.
Butler (5-5) managed a .146 attack percentage in the match, with only freshman Porshia Allen recording double-digit kills with 10. The Jaguars did not perform much better, hitting .176 in the match with Carol Newell pacing both teams with 16 kills. Sophomore Dana Daprile paced the Bulldogs with a .385 attack percentage (5-0-13) and 19 assists. Allen hit .208 (10-5-24) and paced the team with 12 digs.
The Bulldogs head to Tempe, Ariz. this weekend as they take on Duke, Notre Dame and Arizona State in the Sun Devil Classic from Sept. 15-16.
