Butler Recruiting Class Named Second-Best In Horizon League

May 15, 2007

The Bulldogs' women's soccer recruiting class for the 2007 season has been ranked as the second-best in the Horizon League, according to Soccer Buzz Magazine, the online soccer publication.

Butler ranks behind only UW-Milwaukee for the best class for 2007 and is 25th-best in the Great Lakes Region.

According to the publication, the Bulldogs are "among of the hottest team's in the Horizon League" after bringing in one of the top-three recruiting classes in two of the last three seasons.

Head coach Tari St. John added a diverse group of 10 newcomers to the already potent Butler line-up for the 2007 campaign. Six of the recruits had a part in helping their club squads to state championships during their high school careers.
