Bulldogs Advance to Horizon League Championship with 4-0 Win Over UWGB

Butler advanced to the Horizon League Men's Tennis Championship match Sunday with a 4-0 semifinals win over UW-Green Bay at the Indianapolis Racquet Club East. The Bulldogs are scheduled to play in the championship match Sunday evening at the Butler Tennis Bubble on campus.

After Butler won convincingly at No. 1 and 2 doubles, Andy Bartish, Evan West and Tony Aker clinched the match with singles wins.

Butler is in search of its fourth consecutive Horizon League title and seventh in the last eight years. The Bulldogs will play the winner of the other semifinal match between UIC and Wright State, which did not begin until 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The championship match will begin one hour after the conclusion of the semifinal match. The site has once again been moved back to the Butler campus.
