Results

Griffith, Ind. - Butler put up strong showings at the top of the order in both doubles and singles against Valparaiso on Friday (April 6), as the Bulldogs scored a 5-2 victory over the Crusaders.

James Low and Ben Raynauld got things going at No. 2 doubles, notching a swift 8-3 decision before Sandy Berry and Eric Breitenbach secured the doubles point with an 8-5 win at No. 1.

Low and Berry put the Bulldogs up 3-0 with two-set victories at No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, before the Crusaders earned a decision at No. 5 for their first point. Valpo would get no closer, however, as Breitenbach clinched the win with a decision at No. 2 before Raynauld gave the Bulldogs their final point with a victory at No. 3.

Butler returns to action on Saturday (April 7) when it hosts UIC for Senior Day beginning at 2:00 p.m.
