Bulldogs Sweep Past Wright State, 7-0

Indianapolis, Ind. - Butler continued its dominance of Horizon League opponents on Wednesday (April 4), topping visiting Wright State to the tune of 7-0. The Bulldogs scored wins in all nine matches on the day to improve to 7-9 on the year and 2-0 in the league.

Butler picked up wins in all three doubles spots. Eric Breitenbach and Sandy Berry scored an 8-4 win at No. 1, James Low and Ben Raynauld added an 8-4 victory at No. 2 and Evan West and Scott Newmark teamed up for a convincing 8-1 decision at No. 3.

The Bulldogs continued to roll past the Raiders in singles play, notching all six match victories in straight sets while holding Wright State to no more than four wins in any one set.

Butler returns to action on Friday (April 6) when it takes on Valparaiso beginning at 2:00 p.m.
