Butler Sweeps Dayton, 7-0

March 28, 2006

The Bulldogs returned to their winning ways Tuesday, traveling to Dayton, Ohio and sweeping the Flyers, 7-0, in a non-league contest. Butler swept the doubles point and then continued the momentum with six straight-set singles wins. With the win, Butler improves to 7-9, while Dayton falls to 8-10. The Bulldogs were just the second team in nine tries to defeat the Flyers in Dayton.

Butler returns to action and kicks off Horizon League play Saturday against Cleveland State at the Butler Bubble in Indianapolis.
