Indiana State Rallies for 4-3 Win Over Visiting Butler Saturday

West and Bartish each go 2-0 for the Bulldogs

On the road at Indiana State Saturday, the Bulldogs jumped out early on the host Sycamores by sweeping the doubles points before ISU rebounded to win four of the six singles matches and take a 4-3 victory in the in-state battle. Junior Andy Bartish and sophomore Evan West each went 2-0 on the day. Indiana State improved to 6-7 with the win, while the Bulldogs fell to 8-12 on the spring season.

Butler returns to action Thursday, hosting Horizon League rival Wright State at 4 p.m. in the Butler Bubble. It is the Bulldogs final home match of the season, but the Horizon League Championships will be played at North Central High School in Indianapolis April 23-24.
