Bulldogs Win Close Matches in 6-1 Decision at Xavier Tuesday

Butler returned to action after more than a week of inactivity to down rival Xavier, 6-1, Tuesday afternoon at Mercy HealthPlex in Fairfield, Ohio. The Bulldogs swept the doubles point and took five of the six singles matches to secure the win. Four of the singles matches went to three sets, as the Bulldogs improve to 7-10 on the spring season.

Butler returns to action Saturday at Big Ten opponent Michigan before returning to the Butler Bubble in Indianapolis to square off with Horizon League foe UIC.
