DETROIT (AP) - Brandon Cotton scored 16 points to lead Detroit Mercy to a 72-59 win over Butler on Saturday. Butler (6-8, 1-3) got a team-high 15 points from Bruce Horan and 13 points and seven rebounds from Avery Sheets. The Titans broke open a close game with a 15-4 run midway through the second half.
