Senior Jesse Levknecht and sophomore Mary Beth Arnold each posted a first and second-place finish in Friday's meet against IUPUI and Northern Colorado at the IUPUI Natatorium. Levknecht captured the 100-yd. butterfly in 1:01.15, while Arnold got to the wall first in the 200-yd. breaststroke with a time of 2:30.54.

Levknecht was the runner-up in the 200-yd. butterfly, as her time of 2:15.15 was just more than two seconds off the winning pace. The senior's time of 2:20.68 was good enough for third in the 200-yd. individual medley.

Arnold placed second in the 100-yd. breaststroke with a time of 1:10.48.

In the double dual meet format, IUPUI topped Butler, 81-54, while the Bulldogs dropped a 110-28 decision to Northern Colorado. Northern Colorado also defeated IUPUI by a score of 111-29.

The Bulldogs return to action Saturday afternoon with a meet against UIC and Lindenwood at the Natatorium. Saturday's match will feature both men's and women's competition.
