PRINCETON, N.J. - Seniors Marjorie Grap (Van Etten, N.Y./Spencer-Van Etten), Tyler Hoffman (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) and Joshua Kaehler (Hanover, Pa./South Western) of the Bucknell track and field teams collected All-East honors after posting top-five finishes in their respective events at the 2007 ECAC and IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Bison women currently sit in 11th place with a total of 12 points, while the men rank 17th with nine points.

Grap finished second in the hammer with a throw of 192 feet (58.52m), which was a new personal best and qualified her for the NCAA East Regional Championships. She also placed eighth in the discus with a mark of 147-2 (44.85m). Hoffman threw for a distance of 197-1 (60.08m) in the hammer throw, which was good for fifth place and qualified him for the NCAA East Regional Championships. Kaehler notched a fourth-place showing in the javelin with a mark of 201-4 (61.38m).

Also at the championships, the quartet of senior Christa Sawko (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville Area), along with juniors Erin Cranmer-Hart (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slipper Rock) and Offeibea Hanson-Hall (New Rochelle, Pa./New Rochelle) and freshman Allison Janda (Plymouth, Mich./Salem), recorded a time of 8 minutes, 57.98 seconds in the 4x800-meter relay, qualifying the team for the finals on Sunday. In the 100 hurdles, senior Catherine Trentacoste (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) ran times of 14.39 and 14.22 in the preliminaries and semifinals, respectively, to qualify for the finals on Sunday. She also placed 10th in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:01.55.

Senior Angie Hall (Elkton, Md./Rising Sun) finished 10th in the pole vault after clearing a height of 11-5 ¾ (3.50m). Senior Nina Reinhardt (Northport, N.Y./Northport) notched a ninth-place showing in the heptathlon with a total of 4,590 points.

On the men's side, junior David Mante (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) cleared a height of 16-0 ¾ (4.90m) in the pole vault, which was good for 10th. In the long jump, Kyle Anthony (Barryville, N.Y./Eldred Academy) finished 13th after jumping a distance of 22-9 ¼ (6.94m). He will also compete in the triple jump on Sunday. In the 400-meter dash, sophomore Kerry Boyle placed 13th with a time of 48.04.

Also competing on Sunday, May 13, in the final day of the ECAC and IC4A Championships will be junior Beverly Rogers (Finleyville, Pa./Ringgold), freshman Amy Mantush (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) and Grap, who will take part in the javelin, high jump and shot put, respectively, while senior Nick DeGregorio (Ridgewood, N.J./Bergen Catholic) will compete in the shot put. The meet will begin at 10:30 a.m.
