Scenes from Spring Football
March 26, 2006 LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The Bucknell football team began its third spring camp under head coach Tim Landis on Sunday evening. Despite chilly temperatures and threatening skies, it was a spirited session as the Bison took their initial steps toward what they believe will be a much-improved squad in 2006. After setting the stage with a team meeting, Landis put his team through about a two-hour workout that was primarily divided up by position groups. The session was the first of 15 this spring, culminating in the annual Orange vs. Blue game on Apr. 22. The next practice is squaduled for Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. All spring workouts are open to the public, free of charge. Below are a few photos from Sunday's opening night of spring practice.
