Bucknell Baseball Ranked for First Time This Season in Regional Poll
March 23, 2004 LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell baseball team (9-6) earned 20 poll points and a No. 15 ranking in the CollegeBaseballInsider.com Northeast poll released Tuesday, the first time Bucknell has been ranked in the regional poll this season. Voters rewarded Bucknell for their 5-2 trip to Florida, where they defeated Columbia, Vermont, Indiana, Fairfield, and Dartmouth while losing to Iowa and Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Bucknell dropped Tuesday's home game to Penn State 6-4 after leading 4-2 for much of the contest. The Bison will open the league season on Saturday for the first of two days of doubleheaders against Navy. Both doubleheaders will start at 12 p.m.
