This marks the second meet of the post season as the Bears traveled to Annapolis, MD last week for the Heptagonals. This year's ECAC Championship will take place in Princeton, NJ at Princeton University.

The women are coming off a strong Heps showing as the team finished 2nd overall, and numerous individuals recorded personal best performances. Highlighting the Meet was junior Lauren Contursi (Flemington, NJ) who set a Meet record in the pole vault, measuring 12'5.5.

On the men's side, senior tri-captain Ed Smith (Washington, DC) led the team with three stellar performances. He PR'ed in the trials of the 400 in 48.39, only to outdo that in the finals at 48.36, good for sixth place. He came back to anchor the 4x400 relay that finished third.

Most recently, the team also received All Ivy honors, as Ayanna Andrew, Claudine Compas, Jaylin White, Julia Stevenson, Laura Hughes, Keely Tharp, Lauren Contursi, Mary Hale, Kim Thalmann, and Sean Thomas were each named to either the First or Second Teams.

Schedules and results of this year's IC4A/ECAC Championships can be found at www.ecac.org.
