Ten Athletes Earn 2002 Outdoor Track All Ivy Honors

On the women's side, four athletes placed 1st in five different events. Freshman Alexis Hall placed 1st in the 100 Meter Dash (12.83). Junior Keely Tharp finished 1st in the 200 Meter Dash, recording a time of 27.14. In the 1500 Meter Run, it was senior Mary Hale, who earned 1st by recording a time of 4:33.20 in the event. In the 100 Meter Hurdles, sophomore Katie Rowinski posted a time of 16.00, which was good for 1st. The Bears also captured 1st place in the 4X100 Meter Relay.

For the men, the top Brown finishers were junior Jeff Gaudette, who earned top honors in the 5000 Meter Run. Smith completed the race in a time of 14:32.50. Senior Ed Smith who placed 3rd in the 400 Meter Run (49.61). Freshman Pat Tarpy earned a 4th place finish in the 1500 Meter Run, posting a time of 3:57.94.
