For the top Brown performers on the men's side, Ed Smith placed first in the 400 Meter Dash, finishing in a time of 49.40. Matt Emond finished 1st in the 3,000 Meter Run, posting a time of 8:33.79. Brandon Buchanan placed 3rd in the 60 Meter Dash, finishing in a time of 6.62. Pat Tarpy placed 2nd in the 1 Mile Run (4:11.39). In the 4X400 Meter Relay, the Bears placed 1st in the race, recording a time of 3:21.45

On the women's side, Emily McElveen placed 3rd in the 60 Meter Dash, posting a time of 8.03. Basia Dabrowski recorded a time of 8.14 in that event, earning 5th place. McElveen also placed 5th in the 200 Meter Dash (26.08). In the 400 Meter Dash, Melissa Tremblay and Barbara Schreck placed 5th and 6th, respectively. Angie Morey earned 3rd place in the 1-Mile Run (4:58.20). Ayanna Andrew placed 2nd in the 60 Meter High Hurdles (8.94). Jill Lynch earned 3rd in the Shot Put (12.77m).

Brown's next competition will come on February 23-24, where the teams will compete at the Heptagonal Championships in Ithaca, NY. Cornell University is the host school this year.
