Men's Tennis Suffers Loss To UMass
Boston-- The Boston University men's tennis team fell to 0-4 on the season after losing to the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. The Terriers were overmatched in singles competition, losing all seven matches to the Minutemen. Number one singles player Ramy Frem lost 7-6, 6-3 to UMass' undefeated number one singles player Steve Prisco. B.U. was unable to gain a point in doubles competition, losing all three matches. The combination of John Koetzle (Dix Hills, NY) and Jason Vinoles (Manhasset, NY) was defeated 8-0, Elan Alexander (West Bradenton, FL) and Bryant Christanto were defeated 8-2, and Matthew Wolf and Noel Moosa lost 8-3. Next up for the Terriers is the UCONN Invitational October 15-17 in Storrs, Connecticut.
