Men's Tennis Wins Doubles Point, Falls At Air Force, 6-1



COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Boston University men's tennis team got out to an excellent start against the Air Force Academy, winning the doubles point, but dropped all six singles matches in a 6-1 loss to the Falcons on Monday, March 10.

B. U. falls to 1-4 on the season. Air Force won its ninth consecutive match, improving its record to 14-1 this season.

B. U. took the doubles point as the No. 2 double team of senior Jason Vinoles (Port Washington, N. Y.) and senior J. P. Debbink (Oconomowoc, Wisc.) won an 8-5 decision and the No. 3 team of senior Noel Moossa (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.) and freshman Nick Ganias (Worcester, Mass.) won, 8-5.

That was all the good news for the Terriers, as Air Force stormed back to sweep all six singles matches.

The Terriers travel up Interstate 25 to take on Metropolitan State in Denver on Tuesday, March 11.
