Lamar Reddicks joins the Boston University men's basketball staff in 2007-08 after spending seven years as an assistant with Harvard University.
His responsibilities include recruiting coordination, practice and game planning, on-floor coaching, scheduling, compliance, advising and counseling.
Reddicks has long been involved with New England basketball. In addition to his seven years at Harvard, he was a four-year letter-winner for Bentley College. He started all 110 games for the Falcons and is among only eight players in school history with 1,200 career points and 800 rebounds. A two-year captain of the school's basketball team, Reddicks was both an honorable mention All-Northeast 10 selection and voted team MVP in 1999-2000. He averaged 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game that season while leading Bentley to a 17-11 mark and a semifinal appearance in the conference tournament. In his senior year, Reddicks was the co-recipient of Bentley's Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award.
He graduated from Bentley in 2000 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in marketing. He resides in Milton, Mass. |
