BOSTON - Junior Jesyka Burks-Wiley has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week, after averaging a double-double (20.5 ppg, 11.0 rpg) in two games and earning America East Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors. It is the first time this season Burks-Wiley has earned the distinction.

Burks-Wiley began her week with a 20-point, 10-rebound performance versus cross-state rival Massachusetts in Wednesday's 72-60 victory. She followed it up with a career-high 21 points and a game-best 12 rebounds at St. John's on Saturday.

The junior forward is averaging 15.1 ppg and 7.9 rpg for the season - both team highs. Burks-Wiley ranks second in the conference in scoring average and rebounding. She is .427 from the field and .880 (22-for-25) from the free throw line.
