Freshman Christina Keesey was 2-0 for the Buckeyes Monday at No. 3 singles. Against #21 Wichita State, Keesey clinched the Buckeyes' upset win, coming back from a set down to beat Lenore Lazaroiu, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5. The match was tied at 3-all when Keesey pulled out the win and the Buckeyes's biggest victory of the year. Wichita State had been a perfect 12-0 before the Buckeyes handed the Shockers their first loss of the season. Against Wichita State, Keesey was one of three Buckeyes who posted come-from-behind, three-set wins in the upset victory. Keesey closed out the day with a straight-set, 6-1, 6-1, victory over Krista Polulak of No. 11-ranked (Division II) Florida Gulf Coast.
