Offensive Player of the Week
Carrie DeFreece, Indiana

DeFreece claimed the first weekly accolade of her career after being named the Old National Bank Hoosier Classic Offensive MVP this past weekend. The senior forward scored all three of Indiana's goals, including two game-winners as the Hoosiers defeated Northern Arizona and Wisconsin-Milwaukee 1-0 and 2-0, respectively. DeFreece's two-goal performance against UWM marks the first multi-goal game of her career and the first for IU since Kim Grodek accomplished the feat on Oct. 29, 2004.

CO-Defensive Players of the Week
Emily Zurrer, Illinois
SO, D, Vancouver, B.C./Cowichan Secondary
Zurrer shares Defensive Player of the Week laurels after anchoring an Illinois defense that allowed only one shot on goal and recorded two shutouts against Syracuse and then-No. 13 Auburn, last weekend. The sophomore also added a game-winning goal against the Tigers on Sunday, heading in a free kick in the 70th minute of the contest and giving the Illini their first win over a ranked opponent since Nov. 11, 2005. This is the first weekly honor of Zurrer's career.

Lindsey Dare, Minnesota
SO, GK, Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley
Dare earns the first weekly honor of her career after tallying 15 saves in Minnesota's 2-2 tie with Brown last Sunday. Her defensive effort tied a 13-year old school record, originally set by Teresa O'Hearn on Sept. 30, 1994, and helped the sophomore goalie remain unbeaten as she moves to 3-0-1 thus far. She has now recorded three shutouts and 41 saves to lead the Gophers to their best start since 2002 with a 4-1-1 record.
