Leatherman garners Athlete of the Week accolades after setting an NCAA automatic qualifying mark in the 20-pound weight throw over the weekend at the Penn State Relays.  The Yellville, Ark., native broke a PSU and facility record with a toss of 70' 2 ¼ `', claiming first-place in the weight throw competition. She went on to finish first in the shot put, notching a 48'8" mark. This is the first weekly honor of Leatherman's career.
