Purdue's Tuggle and Wisconsin's Hubbard Grab Final Awards of Outdoor Season

Tuggle earns his first career outdoor honor after posting NCAA Regional qualifying times in two events at the Billy Hayes Invitational over the weekend. The junior placed first in the 200-meter dash at 21:07, marking the second-fastest time in the Big Ten this outdoor season. Tuggle then took second in the 400 meters with a time of 46.55, which is the second-best mark in Purdue history and the third-fastest in the conference this year.

FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Paul Hubbard, Wisconsin
Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo./Widefield

Hubbard receives his first career weekly award after qualifying for NCAA Regionals in two events at the Wisconsin Twilight on Saturday. The senior won the long jump with a distance of 7.43, which is the second-best mark in the conference this season. Hubbard was also part of the first-place 4x100-meter relay team that clocked in at 40.39, marking is the fastest time in the Big Ten this year. Hubbard is the first Badger to take home a field award this season as teammate Demi Omole earned track honors twice.
