Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Doug DeMartin, Michigan State

Doug DeMartin paced his team to a victory this weekend over a talented Wisconsin squad. DeMartin scored two of his team's three goals on Sunday, nearly missing a hat trick. DeMartin now has six goals in eight games this season. The weekly award is DeMartin's first of his career.

Defensive Player of the Week

Chris Austin, Michigan State

Chris Austin saved four shots on goal in a 3-0 shutout over the Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday. Austin's great defense also helped out on offense when one of his punts assisted for a goal. This is Austin's fourth shutout of the season in just eight games. The weekly award is Austin's first of his career.
