Big Ten Men's Indoor Track and Field Season Gets Underway This Weekend

Jan. 6, 2005

The Big Ten men's indoor track and field season opens this weekend with four Conference teams in action on Saturday.

Illinois and Indiana will compete in the Hoosier Open in Bloomington, while Michigan and Minnesota open the year at home in the Jack Harvey Invitational and Northwest Open, respectively.

Ohio State was previously set to compete at the Buckeye Invitational, but after the cancellation of the event, will instead hold an intrasquad meet in preparation for the Kentucky Invitational January 14-15.

Defending Big Ten Champion Wisconsin and the remaining four League schools will begin their 2005 campaigns next weekend.
