Miller earns first career award; First Hawkeye to win weekly laurel since 2000



Iowa's Luke Miller earns Big Ten Golfer of the Week after leading the Hawkeyes to a sixth-place finish in the River City Classic in New Orleans last week.

Miller led Iowa to a sixth-place finish in the River City Classic in New Orleans last week.  He tied for the team lead on both days of competition. Last week's finish marked Miller's fourth top-20 finish of the 2004-2005 season. He also leads the Hawkeyes with a 73.68 round average.

This is Miller's first career Big Ten Golfer of the Week selection.  He is the first Hawkeye to earn weekly honors since Matt Stutzman won the award on April 12, 2000.
