NCAA First and Second Round Single-Session Tickets Now on Sale

Park Ridge, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference announced today that a limited number of single-session tickets for the 2007 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds went on sale starting at 8 a.m. CT on Thursday morning. Fans can order tickets at the United Center box office, at www.unitedcenter.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212. The price of a single-session ticket is $76, with some applicable service charges depending on the method of purchase.

The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship at the United Center in Chicago will start with two sessions on Friday, March 16. The first session will begin with No. 7 seed UNLV taking on No. 10 seed Georgia Tech at 11:25 a.m. CT before No. 2 seed Wisconsin battles No. 15 seed Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Friday's second session will feature top-seeded Kansas facing No. 16 seed Niagara at 6:10 p.m. CT followed by No. 8 seed Kentucky squaring off against No. 9 seed Villanova. The third session will take place on Sunday, March 18, with two second round games tipping off at 1:30 p.m. CT.

The Big Ten is hosting the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds for the third time in conference history, after it welcomed eight teams to the United Center in both 1998 and 2002.
