After dropping the opening game to Cleveland State, Bowling Green rebounded by seizing the next three and winning the match 3-1. Redshirt freshman Kendra Halm hammered 17 kills while hitting .500 in the non-conference win.

Let's Have a Block Party

The Falcons 2.69 blocks per game average ranks third in the Mid-American Conference.

A pair of Falcons are currently in the top ten Mid-American Conference blocks list. Freshman Kendra Halm averages 1.25 blocks per contest, fifth best in the conference. Sophomore Stephanie Swiger's 1.10 blocks/game slots her at ninth best in the MAC.

Swiger averages 1.45 blocks/game in MAC contests, third best in the conference.

Race For 1,000 Crosses Finish Line

Senior Emily Manser and junior Chrissy Gothke have accomplished something very special this season. Manser recorded 17 digs against Akron on Oct. 22 to put her over the 1,000 career dig plateau. With junior Chrissy Gothke also recording her 1,000th career dig earlier this season, the pair becomes only the second duo to accomplish the feat in the same season after Tammy Schiller and Lisa Mika surpassed 1,000 digs in 1991.
