Falcons Moved to Fifth at MAC Championships

Oxford, Ohio - Bowling Green moved up one spot at the Mid-American Conference Championships and now sits in fifth place with 277 points. The day was highlighted with three Falcons finishing in the top-eight in the 100 breaststroke.

Senior Sarah Agnew finished third with a time of 1:05.26 with teammates Erin Dilkes (1:05.65) and Jennifer Betts (1:06.29) placing fourth and fifth, respectively.

Agnew also finished ninth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:30.39 while sophomore Kara Ohngren was 10th with a time of 4:31.70. Sophomore Dana Schultz was fourth in the 100 butterfly with a time of 56.71 and junior Amy Smith was ninth (57.93).

Freshman Caroline Keating was sixth in the 200 free with a time of 1:52.17. Molly Peterson was 12th in the 3-meter dive with a score of 381.60.

BGSU's relay teams finished fifth in the 800 free relay (7:39.09) and fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:46.53).
