The Bowling Green Gymnastics Team dominated its meet against Northern Illinois Friday night defeating the Huskies 194.075 to 189.800.

The Falcons scored season highs in several events including BG's best event, bars. Senior Marny Oestreng scored season high 9.900 on bars while freshman Kari Elste tied a career high on bars with a 9.850. Oestreng also tied a season high 9.925 in the floor exercise. Sophomore Melissa Popovich tied a career high in the floor event with a score of 9.900 while junior Ann Marie Kassouf scored a career high 38.775 in the all around.

The Falcons have little rest before their next meet which will be this Sunday when they travel to Kent State. KSU will be hosting the All-Ohio Championships where BG will face MAC opponents Ohio University and Kent State. BG looks to remain undefeated in the Mid-American Conference en route to their next home meet which will be held on March 1 at 7 p.m.
