BGSU's Jenny Schnipke Tied for Third After Day Two

Columbus, Ohio - Bowling Green State University women's golfer Jenny Schnipke is tied for third-place over all after day two of the 2002 Mid-American Conference Championship at Walden Ponds Country Club. As a team, the Falcons are fourth out of eight teams competing with a 650 score (329-321), just four strokes behind the University of Toledo for third place. Kent State leads the tournament with a 590 score.

Schnipke (150 overall) was tied for fifth after carding a 75 on day one. She followed that up with a another 75 on Saturday to put her seven strokes behind the leader, Gabby Wedding of Kent State (143), heading into the final round on Sunday.

Junior Shelley Binzel is 10th heading into Sunday's final round (82-78--160).
