Women's Golf Prepares For Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational

WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM PLACES EIGHTH IN ILLINI SPRING CLASSIC

The Bowling Green State University women's golf team continued its 2000 spring season with an eighth-place finish in the 2000 Illini Spring Classic hosted by the University of Illinois.

Leading the way for the Falcons was freshman Shelley Binzel (Dublin, OH/Coffman), who tied for 13th with a 162. Senior Missy Hinds (Noblesville, IN) was next with a 169.

Bowling Green will be participating in the 2000 Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational this weekend. The Invitational will be played on the OSU Scarlet Golf Course in Columbus this Saturday and Sunday. The 15 team field includes six Big Ten schools, four MAC schools and others such as Notre Dame, Louisville, Xavier, Princeton and Stetson.
