Women's Golf Still In Fourth Place After Second Day Of MAC Tournament

INDIAN SPRINGS, Ohio - The Bowling Green women's golf squad is still in fourth place after day two at the Mid-American Conference Championship. But, Toledo is right there with them as both schools have a two day total of 640. The Falcons shot a combined round of 321 in the second round and trail current leader Kent State by 43 strokes.

Individually, sophomore Shelley Binzel has the low score for the Falcons. Her 75 on Saturday gave her a 152 after two days. That total is good enough to tie her for fifth place overall. Schnipke shot a first round 76 Friday, tying her for fifth overall. Freshman Jenny Schnipke carded a 79 on day two. Her two day total of 155 places her in a seventh place tie.

The final round of the MAC Conference Championships is on Sunday at Walden Ponds Golf Club in Indian Springs, Ohio
