The Ring's The Thing

July 22, 2005

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University women's basketball players, coaches and support staff received their Mid-American Conference Championship rings Thursday evening (July 21). The ring ceremony was held at the BGSU Women's Basketball Annual Golf Outing at the Bowling Green Country Club.

Head coach Curt Miller, the 2004-05 MAC Coach of the Year, and his staff presented the rings to the members of the Falcon program at the evening social. Nearly all of the players who helped BGSU to MAC regular-season and tournament titles were on hand for the ceremony.

The Falcons finished '04-05 with an overall mark of 23-8 and a MAC record of 13-3. BGSU advanced to the NCAA Championships for the first time in 11 years. A total of 10 players from that squad return in 2005-06.
