Three Falcons Named to Men's Soccer All-Ohio Team

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's soccer players David DeGraff (goalkeeper), Matt Martinka (defender), and Eric Duda (midfielder) were recognized as members of the 2003 All-Ohio team. DeGraff was tabbed First-Team All-Ohio for the second-straight year while Martinka and Duda were second-team members.

Players were selected by the nine Division I men's soccer coaches in the state of Ohio.

DeGraff (Naperville, Ill.) finished the 2003 season with a MAC-high 127 saves in 21 games for a .799 save pct. He also allowed 32 goals for a 1.42 gaa. and posted five shutouts. His career total of 19 shutouts is fourth all-time in MAC history. His 6,941:21 minutes played is second all-time behind only Scott Vallow at BGSU.

Martinka (Newton, N.J.) played in 18 games this season and had two goals and two assists, including one game-winner. He also was named to the 2003 MAC All-Tournament team.

Duda (Bloomingdale, Ill.) led the team and was among the league leaders with eight assists in 19 games played in 2003. He was a named to the 2003 All-MAC second team.

The 2003 All-Great Lakes Region teams were also announced on Tuesday, with no Falcons making the squad.
