Falcons End Regular Season With 7-3 Loss

Final Stats

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Falcons of Bowling Green ended regular season play at home against the IPFW Mastodons. The last match for the Falcons ended in a 7-3 loss. This puts BGSU at 0-18 for the season.

Ten minutes into the first half Adam Beckett and Seth Fishelson connected twice. Fishelson had both assists on Becketts two goals.

Coming back for the Falcons was Omari aldridge scoring off Abiola Sandy's pass at the 17:27 mark.

Chas Perry, for IPFW, would come back to score three times for the Mastodons and increase their lead to 5-1 going into the second half.

Not far into the second half Adam Beckett would score his third of the game off a pass from Barry Morgan at midfield. Soon after, teammate Piero Caprille scored his first of the game off an assist by Chas Perry.
 

 

Bowling Green showed they were still in the game with two more goals by Omari aldridge. One off an assist from Matt Yanick and the other was a result of a penalty kick. Aldridge leads the team going into the MAC Tournament with six goals and 17 shots on goal.

With time running out, Bowling Green was unable to come back and fell to IPFW 7-3.

*Senior Day*

In keeping with BGSU soccer tradition, senior P.J. Behan was recognized before the game. P.J. helped the team win two MAC Championships. He has played in 57 matches and started in 48 of those. Behan was named to All-MAC Tournament Team and MAC Academic Honor Roll. He was also the recipient of the Mickey Cochrane Coaches Award in 2002.
