Falcons Ink One To National Letter of Intent

Nov. 17, 2006

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's golf head coach Garry Winger has announced the signing of Bryan Mitchell to a National Letter of Intent. Mitchell, a Media, Ohio native, will be joining the Falcons next fall.

Mitchell, who is scheduled to graduate from Medina High School in May is ranked the fourth-best junior golfer in Ohio for the 2007 class according to www.njgs.com. He was also a First-Team All-State member for Ohio this past year and only the second golfer from Medina to earn all-state honors.

Mitchell also helped his team advance to the state tournament, where he fired a tournament-low 73 to help his team finish sixth overall.

"We are very excited to have Bryan [Mitchell] join the Falcon family next year," said Winger. "He will make an excellent addition to next year's squad."
