Bowling Green, Ohio - Athlon Sports Football Annual has selected the Bowling Green State University football team as its preseason favorite to win the MAC West Division title in 2002. Athlon's joins Lindy's as publications which have picked BGSU to compete for its first MAC title since 1992.

The Falcons are picked ahead of Northern Illinois, Toledo, Ball State, Western Michigan, Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan.
