Falcons Fall To Oakland, 76-66

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) - Calvin Wooten scored 22 points Wednesday night to lead Oakland, Mich., to a 76-66 win over Bowling Green. The Golden Grizzlies (4-1) trailed the Falcons by five points, 38-33, at halftime. But Oakland took the lead on a 3-pointer from Wooten with 17:26 remaining and never allowed Bowling Green (2-3) to catch up, leading by as many as 19 points in the second. David Carson and Shawn Hopes each added 15 points and Brandon Cassise had 11 for the Golden Grizzlies. Derick Nelson had 10 rebounds and nine points. Oakland scored 25 points off 19 turnovers. Martin Samarco led the Falcons with 16 points, and Matt Lefeld scored 13. Mawel Soler had 11 rebounds.
