Falcons Bounced From MAC Tourney By Toledo, 77-52

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Justin Ingram's 23 points in 31 minutes led Toledo to a 77-52 win Monday night over Bowling Green in the first round of the Mid-American Conference tournament.

The Rockets built a 15-point lead with less than 5 minutes to go in the first half and outshot the Falcons 58 percent to 40 percent for the game.

Sammy Villegas added 12 points and Jonathan Amos had 10 points off the bench for Toledo (18-10).

Martin Samarco led Bowling Green (9-21) with 13 points but shot just 4-of-12. Mawel Soler added 12 points and Erik Marschall had 11 points for the Falcons.

Florentino Valencia had a game-high eight rebounds for Toledo as the Rockets outworked Bowling Green 31-20 on the glass.

Toledo led 34-21 at halftime.
