Nolan Reimold Named MAC Player of the Week, Again

April 26, 2004

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green sophomore Nolan Reimold has been named the Mid-American Conference's West Division Co-Player of the Week for April 26. It is the second time this season that the Greenville, Pa., native has been named MAC Player of the Week.

Reimold shares the West Division accolade with Ball State's Miller after batting .500 (8-for-16) with five RBIs. Reimold, who batted .583 in the Kent State series, drove in four runs in the series-deciding third game on a game-tying three-run home run and a game-winning, two-out RBI double in the eighth. He produced an .813 slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage. The sophomore had a pair of two-hit games and a three-hit contest in the series.

BGSU took two-of-three games from Kent State this past weekend and are now 21-11 overall and 8-7 in the MAC West Division.

Reimold was also named MAC Player of the Week on March 1.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound right fielder is third in the MAC with his .422 batting avg. and .500 on-base pct., and second in the league with his .767 slugging pct. (seven doubles, three triples, nine home runs). He currently is riding a seven-game hitting streak.
