Earned three varsity letters at Sylvania Southview for coach Mike O’Reilly...was a First-Team All-District and First-Team All-Northern Lakes League selection in 1998 and again in 1999...set school record for career wins (15)...was 6-2 as a senior with a 1.42 ERA and 64 strikeouts in 49.2 innings...compiled a 6-3 record as a junior with a 2.85 ERA and 73 strikeouts in 63.2 innings...also earned two letters in basketball...member of the National Honor Society.
Summer Ball
Played for Fifth Third Bank in the Federation League out of Toledo with former BGSU players Brian Cannon, Chris Vaught, and Mike Campbell. Coached by Gary Cooper and Mike O'Reilly. finished 4-0, won the state championship game and a regional game. Team won the state chamionship and lost in the regional semi-finals.
