2007: Competed in six of seven meets for the Falcons during the fall. Set a new 8K personal record time of 27:14.58 at the Mel Brodt Invitational, finishing in the 72nd-position. Finished 73rd at the MAC Championships, running a time of 28:42.7. Took home the eighth-position in the annual BG-UT 5K Dual meet with a time of 17:02. 2006: Ran a season best 8K at the Mel Brodt Invitational with a time of 27:38. 2005: This fall saw an impressive improvement from Kaighin as he too improved his 8K personal record by well over two minutes to 27:33...he set this new personal best at the Mel Brodt...also ran a 5K PR at the annual BG-UT Dual with a time of 16:32...named Most Improved Runner with teammate Jeremy Hartley. 2004: Injured during the 2004 season. High School: Was named first team all Great Lakes League. Had personal bests of 2:05 for 800m, 4:35 for 1600m, 10:00 for 3200m and 16:40 for 5K Personal: Son of Paula Kaighin. Majoring in sport management.
