Women's Ski Team Wins Slalom At Boston College Carnival

Feb. 16, 2005

Results

For the second consecutive week, the Boston College women's ski team won an Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference event. The Eagles won the slalom at the Boston College Carnival on Sunday. BC won the giant slalom at the Brown Carnival last weekend.

Sophomores Courtney Culnane and Kara Hoisington once again led the Eagles, finishing fifth and sixth, respectively. The duo finished within one second of one another.

Courtney Hollis came in 12th place and Molly McCary and Ingrid Bengston were also among the first 25 finishers in the slalom.

BC didn't see the same giant slalom success it had last weekend at Brown as the team finished in fifth place on Saturday. Hoisington had another solid day, earning a sixth-place finish for the Eagles. McCary was 11th.
