The Boston College men's track and field team performed well at the UNH Invitational on Saturday, April 8. Mark Alizzi and Christopher Caulfield each won their respective events.
Caulfield claimed victory in the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.57, the fastest recorded time for a BC runner this season. Samuel Phelps finished third with a time of 22.82, his fastest time of the year. Trevor also recorded a season-best with a time of 23.03. Gregory Hassel finished fifth overall with a time of 23.04.
Alizzi's win came in the 5,000, where he improved his season-best by nearly 44 seconds, clocking in at 14:50.83.
In the 400, Ryan Henry improved his season-best with a time of 50.93.
Patrick Mellea ran the fastest 800 this season for BC, clocking in at 1:54.21.
In the field events, Louis Canelli placed third overall in the high jump, while Benjamin Kocarnik finished second in the pole vault. Kocarnik earned a mark of 4.26 meters.

James Unis placed second in the discus with a throw of 42.97 meters, and David Lucia placed fifth in the hammer throw. Lucia threw the hammer 41.76 meters.
