WACO, Tx. - According to the latest team rankings released Wednesday by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the Baylor women's tennis team moved up three spots to No. 37 which is their highest ranking on the season, while the men dropped one spot to No. 7.

The women, currently 10-10, 8-1 on the season, are in sole position of first place in the Big 12 rankings after winning two matches on the road at Nebraska, 7-1, and at Colorado 4-3. Joey Scrivano's team finishes the year and a four-game conference road trip this week when they take on No. 24 Oklahoma on Thursday, and No. 33 Oklahoma State on Saturday. The lone top 25 women's team from the Big 12 is Oklahoma.

Matt Knoll's team, currently 21-1 on the season, is the Big 12's highest ranked team. They defeated No. 16 Texas last week by a score of 6-1, and Texas A&M on Tuesday night 4-3 to clinch the Big 12 championship for the second straight year. The men will be at home this Thursday (Apr. 17) where they will face No. 58 Texas A&M-CC. Other Big 12 teams ranked in the top 25 were Texas at No. 16 and Texas A&M at No. 10.
