Dec. 7, 2000

WACO, Texas - Three Baylor soccer players were named to the 2000 National Soccer Coaches Association/adidas all-central region team, the NSCAA announced Thursday.

Senior goalkeeper Dawn Greathouse and sophomore Tamura Crawley were each named to the regional second team, while senior forward Molly Cameron was named to the regional third team.

This marks the third NSCAA all-region honor for Greathouse, the second for Crawley and the first for Cameron. All three were named to the all-Big 12 Conference teams in late October.

Big 12 champion Nebraska dominated the listing, garnering five spots (all on the first team), while Texas A&M secured four spots. Baylor, SMU and St. Louis each totaled three selections.

The 2000 Bears finished the season 10-6-3 overall, 6-2-2 in the Big 12 (fourth place). Baylor lost in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tournament to Nebraska and just missed receiving an NCAA tournament bid.
