WACO, Texas - WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's golf team is set to travel to Columbia, Mo. April 21-23, to participate in the Big 12 Women's Golf Championships. The tournament is hosted by the University of Missouri. The Country Club of Missouri is a par 72, 6,008 yard course.

The traveling Bears include seniors Melanie Hagewood and Hanna-Sofia Svenningsson, juniors Kelli McKandless and Michaelyn Morgan and freshman Josefin Svenningsson.

Play will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday April 21, and will conclude on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 23. Other teams participating include Big 12 competitors Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, OSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

The Bears are coming off a tied for third place finish at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic. Baylor women golfers are currently ranked 28th in the nation.
