Junior Will Doughtie leads the Bears after 36 holes with a two-round 154.

TULSA, Okla. - Behind junior Will Doughtie's two-round 14 over par performance, the Baylor men's golf team stands in 11th place after the first two rounds at the Big 12 Championships.

Doughtie (80-74=154) is tied for 11th overall after shooting two solid rounds. Baylor (310-317=617) as a team shot 67 over par in the second round, a seven shot slide from their first round score.

Oklahoma (595) leads the 12-team field with a 35 over par 595 followed by Oklahoma State and Texas (597). Kansas (607) is in fourth, four strokes ahead of Texas A&M (611) who stands fifth.

Three Bears rank in the top-30. Sophmore Ryan Baca (75-80=155) is tied for 22nd overall after a second round 80 with fellow teammate Will McDonald (74-81=155).

Junior Austin Burk (81-82=163) stands in 53rd place, four strokes ahead of senior Trevar Matheson (84-83=167) who shot a second round 83 to finish tied for 59th on the day.

Doughtie is looking for his first top-10 finish since the Jayhawk Intercollegiate last September.

The Bears will play the final 18 holes of the championship Tuesday beginning at 8 a.m.
